OVER 80 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE.

The founder Tercílio Marchetti, grandson of the Italian immigrant Pietro Marchetti, who came from Paesello de Albino, near the city of Trento, Italy, in 1875. He worked with his father Narciso Marchetti and on May 1, 1938 with the help of his father, started a small blacksmith shop, whose main activities were assembling wheels on wagons, horseshoes for horses, coffee roasters and other tools. In 1941 it started producing “Tisso” type saws for sawing logs.

In 1945, the manufacture of agricultural tools began, covering the market of Vale do Itajaí and North of Santa Catarina. In mid-1964, he achieved the much-desired electrical energy, as until then the industry was powered by diesel engines. With this improvement, it installed the 1st experimental furnace for the manufacture of “Semi-elliptical” type springs, for cars and trucks. In 1973, it ended its agricultural tool manufacturing activities to dedicate itself to the new branch, changing its name to “Tercílio Marchetti SA Industry and Commerce.

KNOWLEDGE AS A SUCCESS FACTOR

In 2015, after successive growths, a new industrial park was built, with around 15,000m², located on the Tercílio Marchetti road, a road that bears the name of the company's Founder. Currently, Marchetti has expanded its Industrial Park to 20,000m². Aiming at the continuous improvement of its products, in addition to Conventional Springs and Ubolts, the company added Parabolic Springs to its portfolio in 2015. Which is the most efficient and modern suspension model, requiring new investments in technology and equipment to its manufacture in the auto parts industry.
